Thunderbolt Pose variations
Benefits: Stretches the quadriceps. opens, stretches and strengthens the shoulders. Massages the internal organs and spinal column.
Sitting on your heels, hook the Jevin onto the left thigh. Bring your left hand to the right knee as you swing the right hand around the back body and hold onto the outside edge of the Jevin allowing the more accessible grip to assist the twist.
You can also use a longer jevin and hook it onto the knee rather than the inner thigh.
The jevins can be hooked and played with in all kinds of creative ways. Find the stability by pressing into its edges or feel the opposing forces as you press and pull simultaneously.
